Being celebrity waitress at MasterChef Australia

On 1st of May I had a great opportunity to take part in filming the episode of MasterChef, which is one of the most popular cooking shows in Australia. It took place in one of the most extravagant building in Melbourne at Ormond College at Melbourne University which is like Harry Potter style castle and it feels like being at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. MasterChef Australia's new season is filmed in Australia’s culinary capital of Melbourne with some of the best amateur cooks from across the country who are are competing with each other and taking up different kinds of challenges.
The attendants were divided into two teams, red team and blue team, and they had to prepare a banquet dinner for seventy college students using ingredients that represent the Seven Deadly Sins. The losing team will be heading into the elimination challenge. It was such a great opportunity to be in that college and see all of this happen. There were around fifteen waitresses from my agency and our duty was to carry three dish plates each with all the contestants to the dining hall and place them in a row to the dining table in front of the students. After two trials it was all filmed and we had to walk around pouring water for the students who could be the judges and eat the sins. Unfortunately only some of the waiters are just about shown in the program and all the focus is on the two competing teams. Nevertheless I sure feel lucky to have had such an opportunity to attend the set of the world famous cooking show. The episode I attended is Masterchef 2013 Series 5 Episode 27.
